Mixing with cocktail masters
A MASTERCLASS in cocktail making attracted several hundred people to St George's Bristol.
Last night's event put on by Cocktails in the City involved 11 bars and a selection of more than 1,000 alcoholic and non alcoholic concoctions at the Great George Street venue.

It brought together some of Bristol's cocktail specialists, including Harvey Nichols, Hotel du Vin, The Rummer Hotel and Hyde & Co for an "interactive evening of cocktail making and drinks enlightenment".
Visitors learnt how to shake, muddle and stir cocktails before sampling the fruits of their labour.

"This event is a unique opportunity to discover all Bristol's top bars under one roof and learn the skilful art of cocktail making."
This is the first year the show has come to Bristol. As well as private tuition, there were also demonstrations on the main stage and competitions for people to enter.

“We have recently add a section for Bristol Cocktail Bars to our website, so it would be interesting to get feedback from cocktail lovers in Bristol to find out if we have mistakenly left any Cocktail Bars out. Here is the Bristol Cocktail Bar section http://tinyurl.com/b2oux7y”
