The final of Miss Bristol, the regional heat of the Miss England competition, will take place on Sunday.

Votes have been pouring in for the 22 finalists since the beginning of May, and when the lines close at 8pm on Sunday evening, the young women will strut their stuff on stage at Panache nightclub before this year's Miss Bristol is announced.

The winner will earn a place in the semi-final of Miss England 2009, which will be held at Champneys Springs, in Ashby de la Zouch, on June 8.

The grand final is in London on July 20, when a Miss England will be chosen to represent England in the next Miss World final.

More than 1,500 people have voted for Sunday's finalists, and there is still a chance to have your say on who you would like to be Miss Bristol 2009.
