BRISTOl Creamers' Paul Mills hit a scorching grand slam home run to earn his side a last-gasp 12-11 victory over the Forks on the hottest day of the season.

LSDs and Guppy Spotters stayed level on points at the top of the first division with a 14-7 dismissal of Real Flyers for LSDs and an 18-8 victory over Bucks Whiz for Guppy Spotters.

In the remaining first division fixture, Grandslammers edged Tbolts 9-7.

The second division saw Orange Crushers pull away from Sloggers with an emphatic 22-2 mauling, avenging the last-innings defeat from their previous encounter.

Joint leaders Desperados were pushed hard by the Flinstones but came out on top 13-12, while fellow leaders Imperial Sliders made easier work of The Force, winning 34-6 and the Chipmonks overcame Friendly Fire 15-8. In the third division, Spartans and Multiple Scorgasms kept up their share of the lead with wins over Greasey Mitts (17-6) and Thunderbats (28-6) respectively, while Flatpackers ran out 21-7 winners in their game.
