An eighth-minute goal from Mike Ollis was enough to clinch Keynsham Town A their first-ever Under-12 Cup final success with a 1-0 victory over St Aldhelms at Bristol Manor Farm.

After missing a couple of early half-chances, Sam Jarman's free-kick was crossed back in by Kieran Thomas for Ollis to volley home from 10 yards.

After that, the occasion seemed to get to both sides, with few chances created and most of the action confined to midfield.

Keynsham's back five of Rory Coles, Jack Dancey, Charlie Brain, Jamie Gregory and Ollie Richards withstood a late onslaught from Saints and, with the help of Sam Black, Dan Colquhoun, Luke Wilson and strikers Harry Neill and Callum Fry, they saw the game out to claim the cup for the first time in their history.

It was just as tight in the Under-15 final as Bristol Rovers JSC defeated AEK Boco 1-0 at the same venue.

The sides had fought out two draws in the league, so it was no surprise the match was so close.

Rovers looked the brighter team early on and Dom Haugh-Stewart and Billy Bond both went close to putting them in front.

The decisive moment arrived on 12 minutes when a neat exchange between Bond and Haugh-Stewart down the left flank sent Bond through to beat keeper Kane Mannings with a cool finish into the corner of the net.

Boco kept plugging away and Abdi Abdulahi found himself through on goal, but Rovers keeper Adam Fry produced an outstanding save.

Rovers' Jake Jackson, Tom Shopland and Sam Edwards began to get control in midfield, while Ben Cush provided some great crosses.

Mannings pulled off two superb saves to deny Bond and then Ben White's sweetly-struck shot. Colin Evans was impressive at the back for Boco, who pushed hard late on for an equaliser but found the Rovers back line of Davaughn Martin, Sam Clarke and Joe Durrant in rock-solid mood.
