Mickey Dagastino became the third player in the Bristol & District Snooker League to make a century break this season.

Dagastino, of St Annes Club A, achieved the feat while defeating Jason Iles, of St Annes Club C, 2-0.

It helped the A team to a 4-1 win, which put them into fifth place in the Premier Division, still 10 points adrift of fourth-placed Dundry British Legion, who had a 5-0 win over struggling Rileys Club A.

Ben Hancorn, with a break of 109 for Long Ashton, and Andy Weeks of Page Club A 108, were the other two century-makers.

Hanham Folk Centre, who won 5-0 for the fourth match in succession, are looking certain to gain promotion from Division I with the season only just past halfway. Unbeaten Hanham lead the division by 20 points.
