Toni Ann Winninger, a leading American psychic, is coming to Bristol for the launch of her latest book and an educational charity workshop.

Hosting the event will be Hazel Newton and Karen Stokes, of Bristol, who are hypnotherapists specialising in past-life and between-life regression.

A lawyer, Toni, 64, worked for 27 years prosecuting criminals in Chicago. Shortly before retiring, she began to develop a profound psychic awareness.

She felt called by the Masters, a group of senior spirits on the other side, to be their spokesperson.

She learned to channel the Masters so well that, with help from Hazel's father Peter Watson Jenkins – a Bristol University alumnus and a former Minister of Frenchay Unitarian Chapel, Bristol, now living in Chicago – she launched an internet blog in 2007 to carry their messages.

This led to books and to the new educational charity, LifeAwareness.org, which has the aim of helping people to discover purpose in life and death.

The two-day spiritual workshop, at which Toni will launch her handbook on reincarnation, is on February 21-22 at the Mercure Holland Hotel and Spa, Redcliffe Hill, Bristol. A Saturday night channelling event is designed for those unable to attend the whole event.
