Merlin teams up with SARI to hear views of black and minority ethnic residents
South Gloucestershire's biggest social landlord has reaffirmed its commitment to tackling racist incidents.
Merlin Housing Society has been working with Support Against Racist Incidents (SARI) and its black and minority ethnic residents to ensure it is meeting their needs. Last week the society and SARI held a special meeting for more than 20 residents to discuss any concerns and suggest improvements to the way the society provides its services.

Anti-social behaviour officer Colin Trainer said: "We were pleased with the number of people who came along. We will be taking their views into account when planning our future work. We want our services to be representative of everyone so that people understand racism has no place on our streets. This type of crime blights communities.
"By engaging with a wide variety of our residents who have different cultures and experiences, we can find out what we need to do to include them and make our neighbourhoods better for everyone.
