Two men who had been arrested after the discovery of a man's body in Bristol have been released on bail.

Detectives initially said they were treating the death as suspicious.

Today they said they were treating it as unexplained and their investigations were continuing.

Police had been alerted by ambulance crews who had been called yesterday morning to the address in Pleasant Road, Staple Hill, where the man in his 30s had been found. The two local men taken into custody were aged 58 and 47.

Officers have repeated an appeal for any witnesses to contact Staple Hill CID on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
