Massive goods haul in Avonmouth burglary
About £500,000 of cigarettes, jewellery, alcohol and perfume was stolen during a sophisticated burglary in Avonmouth, Bristol.
The raid on the Harding Brothers Shipping warehouse in Avonmouth Way is believed to have taken place last Saturday night or Sunday morning.
It housed all manner of duty-free goods which the company supplies to cruise liners. The estimated cost price of the haul was £500,000, but the retail value could have been up to £1 million.
