Mary Portas visits Bedminster in Bristol
RETAIL guru and television personality Mary Portas is in Bedminster today.
She is visiting the town as it is one of 12 “Portas Pilot” projects, designed to regenerate the local high street.

During the visit Mary will take a walking tour of the area’s retail streets which are the main focus of the regeneration scheme, see three of the projects underway and meet members of the Town Team and local community
Bedminster was chosen as a winner to receive £100,000 from over 370 bids along with the original 12 other UK towns to create events and initiatives to improve the high street and surrounding area.
