Martin McConachie
FUNDRAISING comes in many and various guise, all shapes and sizes, these days.
And it's the latter that Martin McConachie, manager of Deerswood Youth Colts football team, has chosen.
He weighs more than 22 stone and plans to shed over six stone of that in 10 months. As an incentive he's wagered £50 with bookmakers that he'll accomplish it.
That in turn will net the club he manages a very useful £1000, too. We wish him well with his weight loss.
