GFA SUNDAY CUPS: Nicky Martin and Dave Bamforth both hit hat-tricks as The Anchor thrashed Shadwell Rovers in the second round of the GFA Sunday Intermediate Cup.

Brad Burrit was the Anchor's other scorer in the 7-2 victory.

Another three-goal man was Sarfan Sports' Shaun Morris in his side's 5-0 success against Argonauts. Kev James hit Sports' other two goals.

Hanham side The Swan beat Bristol 5 Seniors 4-2 thanks to a Scott Green double and strikes by John Poole and Sam Randall. Simon Butterworth and Josh Coosh were on target for Bristol 5.

BAWA Sports thumped Merryweather OB 4-0 thanks to Paul Swain, Dan Oakley, Kye Hamlin and Jordan Harvey, while Sartan United had Steven Shepherd and Christopher White to thank for their 2-1 win against Mendip South Bristol Wanderers. Luke Sheppard scored for Mendip.

Luke Sharp netted twice for The Robins, who went through with a 4-2 success against Avon Plate. Mitchell Kavanagh and Nathan Rendell were also on the mark, with Tyler Gayle and Koran Gayle scoring for Plate.

Inter and Lazz FC both enjoyed convincing 5-1 wins, against Wardies Bar and LFB United respectively, while Lebeq Tavern Courage Reserves hammered Fishponds OB 11-0.

The highest-scoring tie of the round saw Nicholas Wanderers defeat PJ Services 8-6.

Rich Rees (2), Rob Giles, Bill Finn, James Thomas and Ryan Campbell fired Wizard Wanderers to a 6-1 victory over Lockstock United.

Salmon Solutions beat Longreach United 4-1, Lebeq Reserves saw off Marcliff 10-0, Golden Lion (Fishponds) beat Brislington 1987 5-0 and Quality Finish were beaten 4-1 by Downend Reserves.
