MANGOTSFIELD UNITED have completed the signing of striker Marcus Duharty from Toolstation First Division promotion-chasing Cadbury Heath.

And Duharty could be thrust straight into South League Premier action after being named in Field's squad for their home clash against second placed Corby Town.

Duharty had scored nine goals from seven games for Cadbury Heath and Mangotsfield United manager Paul Milsom is hoping that he can make the step up to Southern League football.

Mangotsfield are without central defender Scott Hendy, who is working in Greece, and there will be a late fitness test for left back Geraint Bater, who is struggling to overcome a troublesome ankle injury.

Mangotsfield United(from): Clapham, Arndale, Ball, Scott, Bater, Wilmot, Clough, Williams, Wring, Collett, Page, Duharty, Morris, Pocock, Criddle.

Clevedon Town manager Wayne Powell has snapped up left-sided midfielder Adam Mahdi on a month's loan from Bristol Rovers.

Mahdi goes straight into the squad for Clevedon's game at sixth placed Hemel Hempstead Town.

"We needed a left-sided player to give balance to the side and I coached Adam for a couple of years when I was at Filton College," said Powell.

Defender Chris Collins is not available due to work commitments.

But Matt Driscoll returns after suspension and will play alongside on-loan central defender Dale Peckham.

Kevin Davies has been released and looks set to join Welsh Premier League side Welshpool Town.

Clevedon Town(from): Greaves, Brigham, Peckham, Driscoll, Bassett, Jenkins, Loxton, Heal, Prosser, Powell, Callan, Burrows, O'Brien, Pearce, Hooper, Harris, Adams, Ranhdane, Mahdi.

Gloucester City manager David Mehew will be looking for his side to bounce back after their shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Spartan South Midlands Premier Division Chalfont St Peter last Saturday.

"We gave a poor performance in the FA Cup game and need to put that right in today's home game against Bedford Town," said Mehew.

Matt Sysum, Jack Harris and Alex Sykes are all pushing for a place in the starting line-up, while Tom Hamblin faces a late fitness test.

Gloucester City(from):Sawyer, J Harris, Marshall, Mustoe, Hamblin, Rose, Smith, Webb, Pitcher, Symons, Ballinger, Upcott, Ellis, Thomas, Sykes, Sysum, A Harris.

Chippenham Town, boosted by their FA Cup success against Banbury United, will be looking to improve their League position at home to third placed Halesowen Town.

Ross Adams, who suffered a head injury against Banbury, will have a late fitness test along with Scott Lye.

Chippenham Town (from):Snoddy, Gardiner, Casey, R Lye, Adams, Richards, Belle, Halliday, Harvey, S Lye, Allison, Pratt, Seavill, Carr, Else, Williams, Holly, Turnock, Wood.

Yate Town are likely to be without winger David Anyinsah for their game at Evesham United.

Manager Richard Thompson said: "David will have a fitness test before the game but I think it is still a week too soon for him."

Yate are also without skipper Lee Jefferies, who is serving a one-match suspension. Scott Brice was originally shown a red card in the clash against Farnborough Town.

But Brice successfully appealed against the decision and this has resulted in Jefferies copping a ban.

Goalkeeper Tony Court faces three to six months on the sidelines due to a pectoral muscle injury.

Yate Town(from): Matthews, Vahid, Brice, Mapstone, Stanley, Davidge, Chenoweth, Hawkins, Blakemore, Whittington, Reid, Griffiths, Beadle, McCootie.

Fourth-placed Swindon Supermarine are without the banned Enoch Boateng, who completes a three-match suspension, and there will be a late fitness test for Chris Taylor (bruised heel) before their game at Tiverton Town.

Swindon Supermarine(from): Allen, Bullman, Cook, Draycott, Edenbrough, Harris, Henry, Horgan, Hopper, Howell, Lapham, Lightbody, Stanley, Thompson, Taylor, Vincentini, Wood.
