Mangotsfield United 0 Abingdon United 2: Mangotsfield United's run of league victories came to an end when Abingdon punished poor defending to score twice in the opening seven minutes.

Abingdon took the lead when they broke down the right flank and, with the Mangotsfield defence in disarray, Ben Weedon was left with an easy chance to beat goalkeeper Sam Alexander from close range.

The visitors broke down the right again in the seventh minute to create an opening for James Organ to lob the ball over the stranded Alexander.

Mangotsfield's Geraint Bater and Conor Britton both went close to pulling a goal back and then a mistake by Abingdon's goalkeeper Jon Beames almost resulted in an own goal.

Tom Knighton had the ball in the Abingdon net just before half-time, but it was ruled out for offside. John Mills and Tom Franklin went close to increasing the Abingdon lead before Mangotsfield substitute Luke Prosser was denied by a fine save from Beames.
