Bracknell Town 0 Mangotsfield United 3: Mangotsfield United took three much-needed points from their game against bottom-of-the-league Bracknell Town.

The victory continued their climb away from the relegation zone and into 16th place in the table, but manager Phil Bater is still worried about his side's lack of goals and has put in seven days' notice of approach to Bitton for former Bristol Rovers striker Michael Meaker.

Meaker finds himself in demand, as Bitton have also received seven days' notice for him from Mangotsfield's London-based Southern League rivals Bedfont Green.

Mangotsfield, who had goalkeeper Tony Court making his return after missing the last three games with a dead leg, took the lead in the 30th minute, when striker Tom Knighton ran on to Daine O'Connor's through-ball and finished with a low drive.

Knighton struck again just before half-time, following a free-kick from Geraint Bater, to put the visitors in charge of the game, and they added a third goal in the 53rd minute through O'Connor.

It needed a good save from Court in the closing minutes to deny the home side a late consolation goal, then in time added on Knighton missed the chance to complete his hat-trick when he saw his penalty saved by the Bracknell goalkeeper after Kyle Tooze had been brought down.
