Luke Prosser twice went close for Mangotsfield in the opening minutes, but Bridgwater hit back when Marcus Duharty and Matt Pepperell both going close.

The referee waved away Mangotsfield appeals for a spot kick when Prosser was brought down by Matt Pitcher just inside the penalty area after twelve minutes.

Bridgwater settled and started to dominate the proceedings and it came as no surprise when they struck to take a twentieth minute lead when former Mangotsfield striker, Duharty, turned in a cross from the right of the near post.

They added a second seven minutes later when Duharty punished poor defending to turn in a corner at the near post.

Mangotsfield hit back on the hour when Prosser beat his marker before crashing in a 25-yard drive which gave goalkeeper Sam Hutchings no chance.

Bridgwater went down to 10 men in the 76th minute when experienced Robertson was dismissed for a second yellow card and Mangotsfield equalised when skipper Scott Hendy created an opening for midfielder Geraint Baker to score from the edge of the penalty area.
