Mangotsfield United 3 Cinderford Town 1: Mangotsfield United made it six victories from their last nine Southern League South &West Division games to continue their climb up the table.

After a goalless first half, Phil Bater's side took the lead eight minutes into the second period.

A Ricky Bush corner caused confusion in the Cinderford defence and Dan Spill scored from close range.

However, the visitors equalised just before the hour mark, when United's Scott Hendy was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty area and Sam O'Sullivan converted the resultant spot-kick.

Mangotsfield regained the lead in the 65th minute, when Tom Knighton was brought down in the box by goalkeeper Ben John and Neil Arndale scored from the penalty spot.

Mangotsfield clinched victory with a superb individual goal from Michael Meaker eight minutes from time.

The experienced forward robbed a Cinderford defender on halfway and advanced towards goal before beating John with a perfectly-measured chip.
