Man stable in hospital after stabbing attack

A MAN is in hospital after he was stabbed during an incident in Portishead at the weekend.

The man, who has not been named, was taken to Frenchay Hospital where he is in a stable condition following an incident at Glebe Avenue during the early hours of Saturday.

A 28-year-old man from Clevedon has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and is due before North Somerset magistrates.
