Police are looking for two men who robbed a man of his mobile phone in Kingsdown.

A 20-year-old man was walking home with friends after a night out when they were attacked by a gang of six men.

The victim was punched to the ground and then kicked. He was threatened before being ordered to hand over his mobile phone.

The gang then walked along Dighton Street into Jamaica Street where they got into a white hatchback car, possibly an old style Seat Ibiza, which drove off in the direction of Hotwells Road.

The incident took place at about 3.30am on January 24 in Dighton Street, Kingsdown.

Officers want to speak to the men caught on CCTV camera, or hear from anyone who recognises them.

Anyone with information should contact Avon and Somerset police on 0845 456 7000.

They clearly do no such thing!

So, why do we continue to accept them?”
