Man is punched while sat on wall
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Clevedon.
The incident happened between 11.30pm and 11.45pm in Queens Square on April 10 when a man sitting on a wall was approached by a gang of youths. The 18-year-old victim was sitting on a wall opposite the ATM cash machine when he was involved in an altercation with the teenagers, who then fled.
Approximately 10 minutes later, another male ran up to him, punched him in the face, knocked him to the floor and then stamped on his head, before running off.
The victim suffered cuts, bruises and swelling to his head and face.
The attacker is described as white and was wearing white clothing.
