UPDATE: Man injured by bus on A4174 Station Road, Filton
A PEDESTRIAN suffered head injuries when he was hit by a bus on the A4174 Station Road in Filton tonight.
The 25-year-old was struck at about 6.20pm.

Crews of paramedics from South Western Ambulance Service (SWAS) and the nearby Great Western Air Ambulance attended to treat the man, who was taken to Frenchay Hospital.
SWAS spokeswoman Victoria Eld said the patient was described by doctors as being in a "stable condition".

The road where the collision happened, near the busy Abbeywood roundabout, was shut for the emergency services to deal with it, causing traffic congestion.
It is not yet clear how the crash happened, or whether the man was crossing the road at the time.

Cant help wondering if he would have survived the journey to Southmead Hospital at that time of night in all that traffic. Airlift perhaps?”
