Man who fled mental health unit found dead
A MENTALLY ill man who went missing from a secure unit in Fishponds was found dead, it has emerged.
Michael Harris, 26, was detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act after stabbing his friend Carl James in Swindon six years ago.
He went missing from the Fromeside unit in Bristol last Thursday.
On Saturday police told The Post was told Mr Harris had been found after a search.

It has now emerged that he was found dead on a railway line near the St Phillip's Marsh depot, close to Temple Meads station, at about 10.45pm on Friday.
