Man dies after Yate collision
A man has died after a road collision involving two cars and a bus in Yate.
The driver of one of the vehicles was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest, but it is not certain whether the attack happened before or after the incident.
The collision happened at about 12.45pm on Wednesday, on the A432 Station Road between Yate Railway Station and Morrisons.
A crew from Great Western Air Ambulance flew to the incident and attempted to resuscitate the man at the scene but after 40 minutes pronounced him dead. Another crew from Great Western Ambulance Service were also on the scene.
Police closed the road between North Road and Longs Drive and investigators an expect it to remain closed while they carry out investigations.

“My husband was the first on the scene and did CPR until the police/ambulance arrived.
We would both like to pass on our sympathies to the gentlemans family.”
