Man charged with woman's murder
POLICE have charged a man with the murder of a 58-year-old woman in a Horfield street.
Barach Bandavad was due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court today charged with the murder of Judith Ege in Highbury Road on Saturday.
Bandavad, who is 38 and from Bristol, has also been charged with committing a robbery on the same day.
Ms Ege, whose identity was revealed for the first time last night, was stabbed in the street just before midday on Saturday and died of her injuries shortly afterwards.

Police had previously confirmed that she did not live in Highbury Road.
The street was closed on Saturday for officers to carry out their investigations and a cordon remained in place until about 6pm on Sunday.
Bandavad was arrested in Southmead in the early hours of Sunday morning and charged with murder last night.
