Man charged with raping woman on railway platform at Stapleton Road
A MAN suspected of raping a woman at Stapleton Road railway station who failed to answer bail has been charged.
Mohammed Sabry Aldeed, 37, of no fixed abode, was arrested in relation to the rape on the platform at Stapleton Road railway station at around 11pm on Sunday, September 16 last year.

Aldeed was later released on police bail to return to Trinity Road police station on Tuesday, October 23 but dfailed to answer his bail.
In the meantime, the Crown Prosecution gave authority to charge Aldeed with rape and enquiries continued to trace him.

British Transport Police have confirmed that Aldeed was traced to an address in Peterborough where he was re-arrested by officers on January 9.
Aldeed was formally charged and appeared before Magistrates in Bristol on Friday, January 11 and was remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court for a Plea and Case Management Hearing next month.
