Man charged with drugs offences
POLICE have charged a man with drug offences following raids in Lawrence Hill.
Officers arrested seven people when they executed warrants at three flats in Kingsmarsh House last week, as part of an investigation into dealing and drug-related anti-social behaviour there.

Khalid Abdisaid, 19, of Hassell Drive, St Philip's, was charged with possessing class A drugs – crack cocaine – with intent to supply and has been remanded in custody.
Another three men were questioned then released on bail and three others were released with no further action.

The raids were carried out by officers from Operation Beacon and the local neighbourhood policing team.
Police spokesman Martin Dunscombe said: "We would like to thank the local community who supported this operation and worked with us in recent months in relation to the harm caused to the community as a result of these properties.
"We will now work with the local housing agency with regards to the future of these properties."
