Man charged over Bristol dog attack
A Bristol dog owner has appeared in court after his pet savaged a six-year-old boy.
Niki Carmichael, of Dutton Court, Stockwood, is charged with owning a dog that was out of control.
Bristol Magistrates' Court heard that Carmichael, 33, had tied his dog to railings outside a primary school in Stockwood. When the boy went to pat him, the dog bit his face.
Carmichael was bailed to appear at Bristol Crown Court in October.
