Man attacked Bristol housemates after losing Playstation game
A Polish man has been jailed for 16 months for attacking his Bristol housemates and threatening to kill one of them.
Radoslaw Szynkowski, 32, chased one of the men from the house they shared in Malvern Drive, North Common, brandishing a kitchen knife after losing a game on a Playstation, Bristol Crown Court heard.
He had been drinking all day and decided to play a Playstation game with one of his housemates when the man came home from work at 6pm.
Szynkowski lost his temper and flew at the man, punching him in the face. His housemate initially overpowered him but when he let Szynkowski go he fetched a kitchen knife and chased him out of the house, threatening to kill him.
Police were called and Szynkowski was arrested for a breach of the peace.
He was taken to a police station but released in the early hours of the morning. He returned to the house at 4.30am shouting threats and hit another of his housemates about the head with a belt.
Szynkowski admitted assaulting the two men and threatening to kill one of them. He will serve half the 16-month sentence in prison, less 120 days he has already spent in custody since his arrest in June.

“Hmmm... yes lets spend out tax payers money keeping him in one of our jails. A better sentence and to send a message out across the board is to withdraw his passport, deport him and let the Polish Authorities know of his actions so he is unable to obtain another passport.
We don't have to fund his stay in jail and he will hopefully realise that he simply cannot act in this manner.”

“This is totally understandable, and I do not condemn the bloke at all.
I bet he was playing Pro Evo, and his mates were Barcelona, always doing cutbacks with Messi and Henry. Cutbacks are cheating kids. And Fifa is better.
We've all gone beserk after losing on a game for god's sake. Try playing Trials HD on Xbox 360- FFFFFUUUUUUU”

“And when he gets out of jail ? Has he lost the right to stay in this country ? Frankly we've enough psychos of our own without importing any more of them.”
