Man assaulted in Clifton, Bristol, after gang made comments about his brother
A man out with his family was assaulted in Clifton, Bristol, after a group of thugs began making comments about his brother.
The victim was walking along Boyce's Avenue with his friend and family between 9.40 and 10pm on Saturday April 14 when a group of around six other men made the offensive comments.

He was then punched to the floor by one of the group and suffered facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
It is thought the gang then ran off to the Hop House pub, where they were refused entry. Police also believe they were refused entry from a number of bars in the area.

Officers are now trying to trace a white man described as muscular and around five foot eight inches tall with a pale complexion, high cheek bones, and short dark hair.
At the time of the incident he was wearing burgundy trousers and a blue Ralph Lauren polo shirt with a burgundy horse on the front.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or who may be able to identify this man is asked to contact police on 101.
