Several events are planned for the rest of this month at the ss Great Britain.

Visitors will have the chance to make and decorate giant origami boats at workshops held onboard the ship between 11am and 4pm on May 23.

The colourful "dreamboats" will be one metre long and will include details of the dream voyages of the families who make them.

There will also be a launch into the harbour on Bank Holiday Monday at 6.15pm and a night glow launch at 9pm, with the paper boats illuminated by glow sticks.

The launches will be available for the public to view by the Dockyard Cafe, which will stay open for the event. Other events include visits from Mr Brunel, between May 23 and 31 (except May 26), and Sinbad's Sea Chests on May 29 and 30, which is a crafts-based workshop where children can take their works of art home.

All the activities are free with admission.
