Major delays as accident closes M5 near Clevedon
A long stretch of the M5 is currently closed following an accident involving an overturned vehicle near Clevedon.
Fire crews had to cut a man and a woman free from a car after the accident happened on the M5 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 at around 1.15pm this afternoon.

The M5 is closed between junctions 19 and 21
Drivers are advised to plan a different route as the M5 southbound is still closed to traffic between junctions 19 for Portbury and 21 for Weston.
A helicopter was called but patients were taken to hospital by land ambulance. Details of their injuries is not known.
