Major Airbus deal
European planemaker Airbus says Spanish tourism company Grupo Marsans has made a firm order for 61 aircraft worth almost $9 billion at list prices.
The order includes four superjumbo A380s, 10 long-range A350-900s, five wide-bodied A330-200s and 42 single-aisle planes from the A320 family. Airbus did not give a value for the deal.
The official list price for the 61 jets amounts to $8.99 billion, but airlines usually negotiate discounts to the catalogue price.
