MPs should not have second homes
Why aren't MP's made to live in their own constituencies then this would stop the fuss about claming for second homes – if they feel so much for the area they are looking after then they would not mind. I do not like MPs making decisions about the area I live in, then they trot off to there house in the country.
You would not get this in other walks of life – you would either have to up root and live there or commute.

“Don't be stupid. If they moved lock stock and barrel to London they could not be representing their constituents and would need hotel stays and travel costs when they returned. If they stay in their own constituency they couldn't take part in national matters once again unless they were put up in hotels and we paid all the travel costs. You can't have it both ways.”
