Lucky shoppers win £1,000 each
ALTHOUGH no one managed to crack the safe and land £50,000 two lucky shoppers walked away with £1,000 each as part of a competition organised to promote Bristol city centre.
The challenge was held in the newly named Bristol Shopping Quarter and hundreds queued to take part.
Although no one figured out the six figure combination Rachel Bell and Tom Charnock both won £1,000 after entering their names in the prize draw.
The safe has been on display in the city centre for the last two weekends and hundreds attempted to crack the combination.

As reported in the Post the Galleries, Cabot Circus and Broadmead have joined forces for the first time to launch the publicity drive.
The aim is to propel the city centre into the premier league of the country's shopping destinations.
Until the £500 million Cabot Circus opened Bristol lagged way behind its rivals in terms of the amount of money spent by shoppers. According to the latest figures £1 billion was spent in the city centre last year making it the 11th most popular centre in the country.
