Love your lungs says campaign
A GIANT pair of lungs were inflated on the Harbourside as part of a campaign to raise awareness of one of the UK's biggest cancer killers.
The I Love My Lungs campaign was launched at a conference, in Bristol, by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation to raise awareness of the disease.
Olympic Gold medallist Pete Reed, who learned to row when he was a student in Bristol, was due to launch the campaign because he has the largest lung capacity ever recorded.
But when the rower was struck down by a sickness bug, Knowle lung cancer survivor Malcolm Edmonds stepped in to help.
