Lorry crash causes M5 motorway delays
Commuters were hit by long delays on the M5 motorway this morning after a lorry overturned.
Two lanes were closed between J22 at Burnham-On-Sea and J23 A39 Bridgwater North.
Police closed the lanes after the lorry tipped over on the southbound carriageway.
About 100 litres of petrol has leaked from the lorry.

“Mike, Unfortunately, because of their size, when they do crash they get noticed. There are far more accidents involving cars. As for driving too close, if you're referring to buncing on motorways, blame that wonderful "safety" device, the speed limiter.”

“Considering that Lorry-drivers are so highly trained and have to pass further extensive nad difficult driving-tests why do they have so many crashes, and why do many still follow so b****y close :-(”

“James, I would've thought that it'd be more than 100 litres in thart case. Not only that, but the motorway would've been shut completely.”

“Maybe the lorry was carrying petrol as its load, rather than it running on petrol?”
