Daniel Golding was the key figure as he scored four goals in Imperial Saints' 9-1 win over Crosscourt United in the second round of the GFA Junior Cup.

His first goal was a back- post tap-in and he added a second in similar fashion after good work by Ben Griffiths.

Golding completed his hat- trick when diverting Tom Phillips' shot into the net.

He then scored a sensational individual goal for his fourth, which was Saints' ninth of the match. Golding received the ball in Crosscourt's half, ran into the penalty area and chipped the ball over the advancing goalkeeper.

Golding also set up a number of other goals and linked play exceptionally well.

Imperial Saints' manager, Shaun Morgan, said: "He's been an unbelievable signing. He travels from Plymouth every Saturday to play for us. He is simply outstanding."

Golding added: "We played well and it was a team effort."
