Long delays as motorcyclist taken to BRI after accident
A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after an accident at Ashton Gate.
The rider, believed to be a man in his 30s, is understood to have come off his bike shortly after 4.30pm yesterday.
Ambulance crews spent up to an hour treating the injured man at the scene of the incident, at the junction of Frayne Road and Clift House Road, between Coronation Road and Brunel Way. He was then taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary, although no details of the nature and extent of his injuries were available last night.
The incident, which is not believed to have involved any other vehicles, caused long delays for rush-hour drivers.
