Long Ashton road to close for three days for roadworks
A SECTION of the main road through Long Ashton is to close for three days for resurfacing work to be carried out.
Work to resurface a section of the B3128 through the village between Ashton Road and Clarken Coombe is taking place between February 10 and 15 and will cost £100,000.

The road will close at night between February 10 and 12 at the junction of Ashton Road, Long Ashton Road and Clarken Coombe from 9pm to 6am.
Once the resurfacing has been completed past this junction, the road will be fully closed for three days to resurface a 600 metre stretch of Clarken Coombe to its junction to the Lodge.

North Somerset Council spokesman, Nick Yates, said: " These night closures are to reduce the impact of the works on traffic in Long Ashton during the day, and all road users are asked to be patient while the work is carried out."
