Liverpool goalkeeping legend in the firing line at Bristol pub
Liverpool FC legend Bruce Grobbelaar will be taking part in a question and answer session at a Bradley Stoke pub after he makes his debut for Winterbourne United.
As reported yesterday, the charismatic keeper will play for the non-league side managed by Nicky Tanner in their Gloucestershire FA Trophy tie with Patchway Town on Saturday, December 5.
Later that evening he will be at The Baileys Court Inn, where a charity Q&A will start at 8pm.
Tanner recently contacted his former Liverpool team-mate asking him to keep goal for the cup game, and to his delight Grobbelaar agreed. Tickets for the Q&A cost £10 and are available from licensees Mark and Kirsty Hodgkiss, who will also be putting food on.

“Big Time Tanner should be the headline.
He¿s bringing in a ex pro goalkeeper to play in a game against a team in a lower league !!
Sounds like he¿s scared of the mighty patch beating his team, so he¿s shifting the attention.
If he wins it¿ll be expected. If he loses he¿ll blame it on the circus surrounding Bruce Drop-a-lot”

“I bet he doesn't keep a clean sheet.”
