This year, the Post is running a twist on the festive tradition – a Badvent calendar. Each day we will reveal a wanted criminal on the run from police and call on readers to help bring them to book.
We hope the campaign will help make the streets of Bristol and the surrounding area a safer place.
And because the Post does not print on a Sunday, we can also look behind yesterday's window.
This man is wanted for attempting to steal a cash till from a newsagents in Longwell Green.
He attempted to grab the register from inside News Packet, but could not get it as it was bolted to the counter.
He made off in a silver-coloured car parked outside, leaving £2,000 worth of damage to the shop.
The incident happened on November 4. Do you know him?
Last week, we showed the picture of a man wanted for cracking a shop window after he tried to use a bank card without knowing the PIN number.
We have also asked readers to help identify a man wanted for stealing a wallet and withdrawing a large sums of cash on the bank cards. The cards were stolen from the Hilton Hotel in Bradley Stoke on September 19.
Readers have helped identify one of the wanted men who stole £70 of meat from Tesco Express in Kingswood. He is currently in prison, doing time for another crime.
We are urging readers to contact Crimestoppers, anonymously if they do not want to be identified, with any information about the people we reveal each day.
A name and their current address is all the police need to make progress.
Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Tunks said: "The crimes featured in this Post campaign may not always seem like the crime of the century, but often those responsible are habitually committing crime and having a huge impact on shops and neighbourhoods."
Anyone with information should ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 and quote crime reference number EM 137/08 for the incident in Little Stoke, or EM131/08 for the Longwell Green incident.
