Bristol City defender Liam Fontaine made his comeback in today's npower Championship clash against managerless Leeds United at Ashton Gate.

Now fully recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him for six weeks, the 25-year-old centre-half donned the captain's armband in the absence of the suspended Louis Carey.

Neil Kilkenny was restored to the centre of midfield with Cole Skuse reverting to right-back and Richard Foster switching to left-back.

City (4-3-3): James; Skuse, Wilson, Fontaine, Foster; Kilkenny, Cisse, Pearson; Adomah, Wood, Bolasie. Subs: Stead, Pitman, Campbell-Ryce, McGivern, Gerken (gk).

Leeds (4-4-2): Lonergan; Smith, Lees, O'Dea, White; Snodgrass, Clayton, Delph, Pugh; Becchio, McCormack. Subs: Taylor (gk), Bruce, Rodgers, Brown, Townsend.
