Swindon Town striker Simon Cox is urging his relegation-threatened team-mates to end their home campaign on a high by finally winning a long-running battle against the drop tomorrow.

Town remain just three points above the bottom four and a win against Bristol Rovers would almost certainly see them safe for another season.

He said: "It is still in our own hands. It has been a topsy-turvy season where we have won a few, lost a few and drawn a few so it would be nice to get the job done in our last home game and end our home season on a high.

"Peterborough might need a win to get promotion (on the last day) and we don't want to be going there needing three points to stay up."

Town will be without promising young defender Sean Morrison (knee) and midfielder Michael Timlin (suspension). Phil Smith will line up in goal after displacing Peter Brezovan over a month ago. On-loan Doncaster man Gordon Greer lines up in the centre of defence alongside Jerel Ifil. Former Bristol City defender Kevin Amankwaah and Jack Smith fill the full-back berths.

On-loan Swansea man Owain Tudur Jones is a physical presence in the middle of the park alongside Craig Easton.

On-loan Reading star Hal Robson-Kanu has impressed on the right flank, while Anthony McNamee provides a threat down the left. Cox and Billy Paynter are a potent pairing up front with over 40 goals between them this season.
