Lenaghan the clear winner at Landsend Fisheries

Martin Lenaghan and Tony Rixon both hit the 100lb mark in the Avon Angling Midweek Open, fished on specimen & match lakes at Landsend Fisheries, Wedmore, with Lenaghan claiming victory by a clear 16lb.

He poled banded pellet shallow at 13 metres off match 19 and brought 27 carp, totalling 125-3-0, to the scales. Rixon poled banded pellet between 15-17 metres towards the island off specimen 33 and weighed in a 20-carp catch of 109-1-0.

The heaviest silverfish catch was taken by Tom Thick, who poled worm and caster into the left lakeside margins of corner peg match one for a 20-1-0 mixed bag.
