YOUNGSTERS from Portishead Primary School have been learning about life in India as part of a class project.

Year 3 pupils have been researching different aspects of life in the country and adopted a tiger from India as part of a World Wildlife Fund project.

The school also hosted a mock Hindu wedding to bring alive the different customs in India.

Class teacher Liz Essex said: "Everyone took part in some way and it was an enriching experience for the children. They really enjoyed bringing this aspect of India to life."
