Swindon substitute Sam Morris clinched the points with a late goal in this Totesport.com Combination clash at Ashton Gate.

Morris scored seven minutes from time after latching onto a through ball and beating keeper Chris Weale with a shot into the corner of the net.

Weale played the whole game after returning from a broken thumb injury but midfielder David Noble had to come off after 44 minutes with an ankle knock.

City went close in the 40th minute through Ashley Kington, who had a fierce shot tipped over by Paul Smith. The Swindon keeper also scrambled away a shot from Paul McClennan after the break.

Luke Wilkinson saw a header hit the Swindon post late on.

Craig Easton and Lescinel Jean-Francois played full games for Town.
