Full-time: Merthyr Tydfil 4 Bishop's Cleeve 2

Two goals in the first period of extra-time dumped brave Bishop's Cleeve out of the GX Cup.

Gary Shephard put Merthyr in the lead with an eighth-minute spot-kick before a disputed free-kick saw Adam Mayo level on 25 minutes after Mick Jackson had touched the ball on to him.

Mike Davis set up Lee Davies to give the visitors a lead 10 minutes into the second half.

With eight minutes left Sam O'Sullivan burst through to take the game into extra-time, in which Craig Stiens and Paul Keddle scored to give Merthyr victory.
