Late show for Stoke Gifford against Old Georgians
Bristol Suburban League round-up:
Stoke Gifford United scored three times in the last 10 minutes to beat Old Georgians 3-2, their first win of the season in Premier I.
Molami Bokota gave Georgians a seventh-minute lead before Chris Patton equalised with a free-kick on the stroke of half-time.
Bokota scored his second goal to make it 2-1 in the 74th minute, but Stuart Pyett levelled again on 80 minutes, an individual goal from Luke Bartley made it 3-2 in the 85th minute and Pyett struck again two minutes later to clinch the three points.
Southmead CS Athletic also came back from two goals down to beat South Glos (Hambrook) 4-3. A goal in the last minute by Luke Coughlin, his second of the game, settled the outcome and took Athletic back to second place. Rob Sivers also scored twice for Athletic.
Mark Lippiatt netted twice as Cadbury Heath Reserves followed up last week's victory over leaders Southmead by beating reigning champions St Aldhelms 4-2. Paul Bernard and James Hubbard were also on target for Heath.
John Pavey scored a consolation goal for Glenside Five OB, who lost 4-1 at home to Fishponds OB.
Unbeaten Lockleaze stayed at the top of Premier II by beating Wessex Wanderers 3-1. Scott Cole, Dave Smith and a first ever goal for Danny Moore sealed the points.
Kerry Duggan and Ryan Weeks scored for Ridings High, who are also unbeaten, in a 2-0 home win over Tytherington Rocks Reserves.
Paul Johnson, Shaun White, Aaran Osbourne and Sullivan Gardener, with his first goal for the club, fired Brislington A to a 4-2 victory against Little Stoke.
Bristol Athletic dropped to fourth place after losing 4-2 at Severn Beach. Danny Bailey (2), Aaran Clark and Curtis Smith scored for Beach, with Kadeen Sinclair and Kanwerpreet Singh replying for Athletic.
Kye Holmes scored twice for Lawrence Weston on his return to the club from Lawrence Rovers in a 6-1 success against Bristol North West. Ashley Reynolds (2) Steve Rich and Ed Wright completed their tally.
Evergreen striker Bruce Anderson scored twice, one of them a 25-yard shot, to help Hengrove BC draw 4-4 at Broad Plain House Reserves, their first point of the season in Division I. Alan Ballinger and John Pinches netted the other Hengrove goals.
Ashton Seniors took their unbeaten run to six games after a hard-fought 0-0 draw at Rockleaze Avonside Reserves.
Kyle O'Donovan scored four times as Totterdown POB slammed Fishponds OB Reserves 6-0. Luke Flicker and player-manager Greg Amott completed the rout.
Only one game was played in Division II, Tyndalls Park Rangers recording their first win in four games by beating Corinthians Sports 6-2 at Canford Park.
Chris Jordan led the scoring with four goals and was joined on the scoresheet by Ross Bradley and Will Dougle. John Davies struck both both goals for Sports.
Ashton United Reserves took full advantage of their rivals being on cup duty to move back into third place in Division III after beating Glenside Five OB Reserves 6-0 at Dundry, Ashley Bullock, Wade Flower and Gary Dadds all scoring twice.
Goals from Jeff Kite, Tim Hopkins and Bradley Bailey earned Brandon TT Sports a 3-1 home victory over Wessex Wanderers Reserves to go top of Division IV.
Oldbury Crusaders Reserves are second after a 2 1 win at Fry's against Winford PH Reserves, whose reply came from Ben Palmer.
Lee Rolfe scored five times as Lawrence Weston Reserves moved into third place with a 7-2 home win over AFC Spartans.
St Anne's Town lost for the first time this season, going down 5-3 at fourth-placed Wanderers. Tom Evans scored four times, with Nick Winfield adding the fifth.
Filton Athletic Reserves halted a run of three successive defeats by drawing 2-2 at home to Coupland Insulation. Club secretary Matt Gould and Lewis Booy scored for Filton, with Carl Giambaresi and Dale Leonard on the mark for Coupland.
Emersons Green lost for the first time in five games, 4-0 at home to Avonmouth A.
In Division V, Rockleaze Avonside A beat Fishponds OB B 3-1 with goals from Tony Gara, Tim Monelle and Mike Hughes to open a two-point lead at the top.
Newcomers Rolls Royce are in second place after pipping Parson Street OB Reserves 4-3 thanks to Craig Warren (penalty), Paul Hughes, Jamie Selman and Piotr Gordienko.
Totterdown POB Reserves crashed 8-0 against Mangotsfield United B, all the goals coming in the second half.
Steve Brunt, Tom Johnson and Joe Weir were among the goals as Stoke Rangers beat Lawrence Weston A 4-3, while Poker County UK thrashed Knowle Rangers 6-0.
