Lambert's replacement at Bristol Rovers is still top priority - despite wins
Two early goals and our first away win of the season at Stockport thankfully erased the memory of our opening league game against Orient.
It was vital we bounced back against a County side with massive financial problems who look big contenders for the drop this season.

But you can only beat the opposition you are faced with and it was great to see the way we soon imposed ourselves on this game even if Jo Kuffour's goal came gift-wrapped from a defender's back pass he still had to be sharp enough to get on the end of it.
I hope Danny Coles' towering header for the second was the first of many for the defender who has been plagued by injury and it was significant that the first man he celebrated with was physio Phil Kite.
It also meant two wins out of two since the departure of Rickie Lambert, right, but the win should not deflect the club's hunt for a new striker before the transfer deadline.
Kuffour and Darryl Duffy are a handful up front but we only beat Aldershot thanks to two penalties and I still feel we need a target man who can hold up the ball "Lambert-style" to compliment the speedy duo.
Apart from a new striker the competition for places can only be good for keeping everyone on their toes which brings me to the intrigue surrounding the goalkeeping spot.
The dictionary definition of intrigue is "underhand plot". I don't think Trolls is being underhanded but I still find it interesting that a player on a month's loan is seen as first choice and we have had Steve Phillips' Turkey trot, what was that all about?
If Newcastle don't want Fraser Forster cup-tied then I presume they will be asking for big money if we attempt to sign him permanently. I'm not even sure he is better than the experienced Rhys Evans who performed competently against The Shots and I believe Evans can be snapped up for nothing.
The big plus already this season was the virtuoso performance of young Ben Swallow when he came on against Aldershot. He was so full of confidence going past defenders on the outside and inside and I loved the way he pushed aside his experienced team mates to insist he was taking a free-kick on the edge of the box.
I can understand that circumstances dictated he didn't get on at Stockport but I hope he gets used at home. It was great to see someone going down the left taking on defenders or did I just dream it happened?
Now for Hartlepool away on a Tuesday night, well done the fixture makers. With the home side in blue we will be in our lucky away yellow and green strip although it is too early to judge if we will be playing just like Brazil or Norwich City.
