Blackpool: Talk Sport are reporting that the Seasiders have accepted a bid in the region of £600,000 from Liverpool for England Under-21 star Tom Ince, having dropped down from their original asking price of £800,000.

Bolton Wanderers: The Trotters are reported to have made a £300,000 bid for Barnsley striker Craig Davies. Meanwhile, striker Tom Eaves is back at the Reebok Stadium after his loan spell at Bristol Rovers came to an end this week.

 

Brighton & Hove Albion: Seagulls boss Gus Poyet has completed the signing of Latvia international Vitalijs Maksimenko from Skonto Riga. Poyet saw off competition from a number of rival Championship clubs for the 22-year-old utility player.

 

Bristol City: In the market for a central defender, Robins boss Derek McInnes has been linked with a possible move for Brighton's Lewis Dunk.

 

Cardiff City: Defender Ben Nugent has signed a new contract, committing himself to the Welsh club until 2016.

 

Hull City: Manager Steve Bruce is considering a move for former Tigers forward Fraizer Campbell, currently out of favour at Premier League Sunderland.

 

Ipswich Town: Eager to replace DJ Campbell, the striker who recently returned to QPR, Blues manager Mick McCarthy has made a double swoop to bolster his strike-force, signing David McGoldrick and Aaron McLean on loan from Nottingham Forest and Hull City respectively.

 

Middlesbrough: It looks as though the Teessiders will now face competition from north east rivals Sunderland for the signature of England winger and former Riverside favourite Stewart Downing, who is out of favour at Liverpool. Meanwhile, Boro have loaned under-21 captain Matthew Dolan to League One Yeovil Town.

 

Millwall: The Lions have released defender Darren Ward and he has joined League One play-off contenders Swindon Town.

 

Nottingham Forest: Striker Dexter Blackstock is out of contract in the summer and Leeds are reported to be interested in him. But Reds boss Alex is hoping the experienced campaigner will see out the January transfer window at the City Ground.

 

Peterborough United: Posh have sent out striker Emile Sinclair on loan to League One Colchester United until the end of the season.

 

Watford: Hornets boss Gianfranco Zola has allowed midfielder Stephen McGinn to join Shrewsbury on loan as he continues his comeback from serious injury.

 

Wolves: Teenager Zeli Ismail has secured a quick return to League One promotion hopefuls MK Dons until the end of the season.
